Certified Gutters
Gutter Cleaning

Gutter cleaning before the clog turns into damage.

In Florida, that usually means twice a year — once before the rainy season picks up, once after the trees finish dropping.

A real cleaning, not just a leaf-blower pass

We hand-clear the debris from the gutter, flush each downspout to make sure water is moving through, walk the roofline to check for loose hangers or pulled seams, and bag everything we take down. If we spot a repair issue while we're up there, we tell you — we don't quote one without asking.

The cost of waiting

When the gutter can't move water, the water finds another way down. That usually means:

  • Overflow at the fascia, which over time rots the wood behind the gutter
  • Water pooling at the foundation instead of routing away from it
  • Hangers pulling out as the weight of standing debris grows
  • Standing water that mosquitos breed in by the second week

None of it is urgent on day one. All of it gets expensive if it sits for a season.

When to clean them

Twice a year is the South Florida cadence for most homes.

  • Before rainy season — May or June, before the daily afternoon storms start. Gets the gutter ready to actually move water.
  • After the dry-down — October or November, after oak leaves and pine needles have finished dropping. Clears what built up.

Heavy oak or pine cover may need a third visit in between. We'll tell you what your specific property needs.

What you can expect

We don't sell you stuff you don't need

If a cleaning is what your gutter needs, that's what we quote. If it actually needs a repair or a gutter guard, we'll tell you — and you decide.

Certified Gutters is a good send. They worked with my schedule, and got it completed in a timely manner. Spoke with them and they told me if I have any concerns that I could call them any time. They are definitely 10 stars.
